When filming we thought it would be a good idea to do a pan in a circle around the children who bullied Ivory, to show Ivory's perspective when she was being bullied. I think this was really effective, however when showing my teacher our rough cut, he said that as the film opening is from Mercy's perspective instead of Ivory's this perspective in the dream might confuse the audience and the pan should have been from Mercy's perspective when she was bullying Ivory.
I agree with this comment to some extent because I don't want to confuse the audience, but in my opinion, the dream was meant to show the Mercy was having flashbacks and realising that she was a bully and that Ivory was going to take revenge, as this is a dream and not reality I don't think the perspective necessarily needs to be from Mercy's perspective, but she is seeing herself from Ivory's view. Therefore I don't think I need to re-film this scene, but just make the plot clearer through the use of editing.
