I enjoyed working in a group because not only has it prepared me for later in life but I have learnt to comprehend and accept other people's views which has definitely made me grow as a person. Sometimes we think that our view is the correct one, however it is helpful when you are in a group and there are a variety of ideas flowing and it is good when everybody agrees on the same thing despite differences in opinions.
Working with Esme, Abida and Alisha has been a great experience because we have all gotten to know each other a lot more (strengths and weaknesses) and we have all managed to include our strengths and improve our weaknesses.
For instance, Abida has great acting skills and we all thought she would be great for the role as psych-like Ivory because of her long hair and previous filming on 'Hunting for scents' we have found out that she has good acting skills.
Through previous filming on re-make on Juno and 'Hunting for scents' I have come to realise that Esme has a great ability to direct and make her ideas come across as easy to understand and she has good editing skills which has been useful for our editing. I was not a fan of editing due to my experience when I had to edit alone for Arlington Road. However I have learnt that trial and error is a way of improving and I was encouraged by my group member, Esme to. Because of this, I have improved my editing immensely as well as because of my incentive to improve so that Karma comes out exactly the way we all want it to.
Alisha is supportive and creative when it came to planning and her ideas were very useful and I appreciate it.
