Today I stayed during lunchtime to contribute to our groups opening sequence.
I tried many filters on some of the clips to see how the filter would look; I tried this several times however had difficulty finding the right one to use. After clicking and trying out different filters I accidentally pressed a filter which looked good on close ups of Ivory. I thought these two filters were very beneficial to out opening and would help us enormously to get a high grade. I thought that because looking through filters would be very time consuming it would be a good idea to perfect the end of the opening sequence and it was not in order properly. Time flew by and it was soon time for the media lesson to begin.
During the media lesson our group carried on trying out filters which could be used. We was in a rush since this lesson was our rough cut deadline. We split the group up as Esme and Alisha carried on editting whilst I went to research names of casts and crew which we could use for our opening sequence.
For the credits I had remembered the title sequence of seven as we looked at it as a class and thought it would be a good idea to use their cast and crew and it is a very good thriller film and they are professionals. I then researched details and had told my group that we could use the crew from 'seven' and they agreed however we were able to change the titles later on if we needed to. We soon had to stop what we were doing as it was the rough cut deadline.
Overall the second day of editing was harder for me because it was difficult to find the perfect filters. I was unhappy because I felt we were behind on the editing as we only found out we had to produce our own soundtrack.
