We had recorded foley sounds before going out to film our thriller. Personally I thought we did a good job of producing our own foley sounds. We had a good pace when saying the planned theme words and we took advantage of this as we were able to edit the sound. I also thought the scratching and banging sounds were good as we could submit them anywhere in our soundtrack to stand out and to scare the audience a bit.
By recording foley sounds I have learnt how useful and important they are because they can make an impact on the thriller. Foley sounds help create the mood and get the audience ready for what they are about to watch. Additionally foley sounds do not take a lot of time to produce if you're organised and know what to do.
Overall I personally think we did a good job creating the foley sounds as they were quick and easy to make.
