We took many different camera shots to show our understanding of camera and lighting. Since our task today was to take still shots such as close ups, over the shoulder, mid shot, wide shot, long shot...etc Below are the photos and a brief analysis of each shot.
1. Big close up
2. Rules of thirds
This shot doesn't leave enough space on the left.
This shot shows our understanding that the person's face shouldn't be in the centre, the eyes should be in the top third.
This shot shows how the eyes are in the top third, and there is space for her to look into.4. Over the shoulder shot shows what the person is looking at/ talking to.
5. This shot shows that the eyes should be in the top third.
6. This shows how the lighting in front of a window makes the person in the image too dark.
7. Wide shot shows the environment we're in.
8. Long shot shows the whole body from head to toe.
